I have been working with the collapsible menus and noticed that sometimes the menus do not always open when I click on the link. If I go back and close (by clicking on) the last sub-menu that was open, it will allow me to open other menus. But sometimes it hangs up on one open menu and I can't open other menus without closing the last one opened.
Is this a glitch that hasn't been worked out yet, or am I doing something wrong?
thanks,
Chris
Collapsible menus - menus don't always open
I noticed the problem on the demo menu here - http://milonic.com/treemenu/collapse/
It seems to occur after clicking about 5-10 times on the different drop-down menus. After this time, some menus will no longer open unless you go back and close the open menu, or choose another menu and then go back to the one that wouldn't open.
I have tried it from two different PCs on IE and Firefox and encountered the same problem.
thanks,
Chris

I was looking at another user's menu - http://www.spiralex.net/test/ - and noticed that their sub-menus always stay open UNLESS you click to close it, i.e., you can have more than one submenu open at a time. This would be ok with me on my menu. On the demo menu - http://milonic.com/treemenu/collapse/ - the sub-menus close once a new menu is activated. What part of the code determines this functionality?

Hi Chris,
You can't go by the menu on this site. That menu is still in development though many are using it without problems. But, the one on this site doesn't have the latest treemenu file which has had some fixes done. So, if you could put a test up with the latest treemenu.js file -there's a link at the treemenu area for it - perhaps we could test to see what's wrong, if that problem still occurs.

I was able to use the singleMasterMenu=false to bypass the first problem, but now have run into the same problem as the user in this thread - viewtopic. ... enu+window
I won't be able to use absolute positioning on the menu since my layout is centered, so I'll need to look into another solution.
thanks for your help,
chris
