openmenusbyurl.js issue with 2 menus on page

Post by DMDurant »

I have a horizontal menu on the top and some pages also have a vertical menu on the left. If I choose something from the left menu that has a submenu flyout, the other menu items do not work when clicked on. Items in the top menu do work however.

Can openmenusbyurl.js be turned on for only 1 menu if there are more than 1 on a page?

Hi,

I will ask about that but I don't think so. I wanted you to know I've reported the other issue.

I think I fixed this. I chnged the resetAutoOpen variable in the openmenuurls.js file from true to false and it appears to work so far.

Hi,

Just to update you, the newest version of the menu, 5.771 has fixed the issue with openmenusbyurl not allowing the main menu links to work when a match is found.
