If you have a professional or above license you might contact Milonic about that. There is a section with demos of functions that were created from the forum for various posts and perhaps one of them might be something you can use. Unfortunately, there seems to be no one on the forum anymore who does js functions.

There is also a function for putting a close button at the bottom of a menu and having it close on click of that button, perhaps you could develop a script from that
