controlling menu box sizes?

Post by bdaul »

I don't know if this is the right place for this note...I notice at the top of one of my files:

fw_menu 24OCT2000 Version 4.0

I want to know how to control the size of the menu boxes.

I don't see how to do this.

Thanks, ---bill

Hi,

We can't help with that. That is not a Milonic menu, it's something to do with Netscape which I found a "Netscape grants you a free license....." when I did a search using your fw_menu etc.

And, on top of that, that menu is from 2000. I would suggest that you find a newer menu. Personally I would suggest Milonic. I believe it's the best and easiest to use out there, which is why I volunteer on this forum :)

Hi,

There is also a Beginner's Forum [not for posting] just with some info no different things. Also, at the top of this forum is a post about positioning the Milonic menu relatively. And, on the main site, under DTHML Menu tab there is a link to Menu Quick Reference Guides, actually I think I have those links below my post...

Of course all of these are for the Milonic menu, not that one you listed. In the Milonic menu, you can set menuwidthh=; and menuheight= in each menu, that will set the actual 'menu box' size. Then you can also set itemwidth and itemheight which will set the items' size.
