Looking for a nested table based menu.

Post by strategicdm »

Not sure if this is the right forum spot, but I am looking for a drop down nested menu that I can use on the left side. It has to
be able to work within a table.

Thanks

Hi,

Milonic menus works in tables. You can download an evalutation copy from milonic.com. And the following is information on how to use it in a table,

Hi Ruth,

Thanks for the input, but I seem to be missing something. All the sub menus appear to the right of the main menu. I need them appear underneath the main one and push the other main menus further down. I don't know if this makes sense.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, it does. You want a 'collapse' menu. There is one available, but it is not in final release. Many use it with no problems. I'm willing to help if you have any and see if I can find a solution, but since this menu is still in development there is no licensed support for it. It all depends on whether you are trying to set up something extremely fancy as to design or placement. The one you want is the collapse menu at the top, but do not use the program files in the download. Use the newest treemenu.js file which is in the regular menu download in the extras folder, or maybe now there is a modules folder.

This is a page that John, the other volunteer, put up at ASU, the menu at the left side is a collapse menu built from lists. But, you don't need to have lists to do it, you can set it up as a regular menu with a menu data file.
