New Licensed User Query - check license on dev server

Post by Afty »

Hi there, I just licensed Milonic for use on a clients' site. I am currently developing on localhost... I want to test that the version of the menu I downloaded is correctly licensed for http://www.myclient.co.uk (example URL) - so I have added the files to the webroot, the menu is working fine (as it was with the unlicensed version I used during development) but the first link in the menu still points to http://www.milonic.co.uk.

So I wondered if this was due to the URL not being correct, I added a spoofed URL to my hosts file such that http://www.myclient.co.uk is pointing to 127.0.0.1 and I loaded the page... still nothing (it's definitely fetching the website from the localhost dev server, but the first menu item still points to http://www.milonic.co.uk).

Obviously I can't send the site live until I can verify that the menu is licensed and working correctly, but I can't ascertain that... any experienced users or Milonic staffers able to tell me how I can test this?

The comments at the top of the milonic_src.js file will indicate the URL for which the menu is licensed. It's also part of the code itself.
