current page indicator -index page problem

I have set the current page font and background colours. This works once I am in the site and click on the menu items. (It displays the current page menu colours.) However, "Home" is one of my top level menu items When I first go to the site (by typing the URL in the browser), the home menu item is not highlighted. If I go to a different page and click on home, then the home menu is highlighted. How can I get the script to recognize the current index page without clicking on the home button?

Sounds a bit confusing isn't it ?
A URL is always most helpful so we can see exactly what is going on (and also look at your array file).
