Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.
Andy I think it looks great. But was it intentional that the drop down menus are somewhat transparent? Its an interesting effect, but a little distracting that the text on the page is somewhat visible. I'm on IE 6
Hi Andy,
No, its fine. I thought it was intended and I can see that there would be sites where the transparency would be useful in the design.
It might be something to do on one or two of the examples you have and add "with semi-transparent submenus" on the description so new people to this understand that is an option they can set and control.
Its great that you do all this experi-mental work. I think the menu is wonderful and the support you do here is outstanding. I hope you know how much I/we appreciate all the energy and time you put into this.
Hi Andy, from a web designers point of view, it's functional, shows what the menu can do and quick. My only crit is your guys logo....it could be a bit more Modern/tech/leading edge (insert designer clichés here) ...? If you're not stuck with it I could knock something together for you.
PS The menu is great and I hope you guys make heaps of cash soon.
I don't know whether it's as good as it could be, but it's definitely good enough for me (and I'm picky)
I was just so thrilled to come over today and be greeted by this new page. It's well laid-out, looks nice and shows off the menu well.
Hey - stop designing and get back to coding! [grin]
Its looking mighty good to me, too. I especially liked the left-hand menu construct. I definitely need to look at using this thing more creatively. That left-hand nav box is a real good example of the flexibility of your product... maybe float the thing so it follows me around?
So are you going to make those cool arrow icons generally available to us designer-chjallenged types? ;D
