Hi, I have a problem with the amazon style tab menu that can be reproduced in http://milonic.com/menusample74.php.
When I click sometimes in the items of the menu and then I pass the mouse over the items of the submenu, the items of the submenu appear without links as if they were blocked.
Is it a bug?
Thanks for your answer.

Problem with Amazon Style tab menu submenus
Re: Problem with Amazon Style tab menu submenus
Hi,
We'd have to know what browser. I am not having that problem in any browser I tried, IE7, FF2, FF3, Safari 3 for pc, NN7, NN9, Google Chrome. It may just be a timing issue? That is you mouseover the submenus so quickly that though you see the items, they ahve not fully rendered yet?

Re: Problem with Amazon Style tab menu submenus
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I reproduced easily it in firefox 3.0.8, IE 7.0.
Perhaps I should give you more detail:
In the mentioned test page, I clicked in 'MILONIC' , 'PARTNERS', 'LINKS', 'MYMILONIC' some times, and then checked to see if the submenu was displaying correctly. If it was, then I tried again with the same procedure, until the submenu got blocked.
(by blocked I mean that it did not display the links when I passed the mouse over ).
When I clicked in 'MILONIC' , 'PARTNERS', 'LINKS', 'MYMILONIC' some times, I did it fast.
Other people in my team also reproduced this in their browsers ( also IE7 ).
Thanks

Re: Problem with Amazon Style tab menu submenus
Hi,
I tried in both FF3.0.8 and IE 7 on winxp pro and though I clicked 20 to 30 times I was not able to get it to 'block' the submenus. I will report this to Milonic.

Thanks Ruth,
You have to click some times, and then pass the mouse over the submenu, then some clicks and then pass the mouse over the submenu.

Hi,
I am going to suggest you set up a support ticket, because I can't get this error to occur, and I can't see whatever you provided, I can't get it to open in anything, WMP, RealPlayer, QuickTime. It just gives me an error.

Re: Problem with Amazon Style tab menu submenus
Hi,
This is now fixed in version 5.819 - it was a problem with IFRAME masking covering the menu when it should not have done.
