Float menu over non-background image?

Post by rickferens »

Hello forum,

Will future versions of the menu be able to float over non-background graphic images?

I have been working at getting the menu to float over a non-background image when embedded in a div. It works and looks great in FF on the Mac (built on a Mac). When viewed in IE7 on a PC the menu draws up then gets covered with the image. Some forum browsing indicated that this was the case. I have since sliced a hole in the image to remedy it this time:

Woodmark Construction will be purchasing their own license also. Great product, the forum has answered many questions.

Thanks, Rick

Hi,

Well, I have winxp IE7 and I see the menu just fine. It drops over the images. I actually had to add a bunch of items to your submenu to get it long enough to drop over the images [the ones that change with the buttons] Anyway, at 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864 the menu works just fine. I also tested in NN7.2, 9, FF 1.5, 2.0.0.18, 3.0.8, Opera9.5, Google Chrome, Safari 3 for pc and the menu looks fine in all of them.

I'm not really sure what you are describing since the submenu does not drop over those images that change in that gallery div, there are only four items in it, I added 8 more and they still show over the pictures at those 3 resolutions. Could you by chance give us a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Nice design by the way :)
