Possible bug with menu placed to right & submenus offset

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

Possible bug with menu placed to right & submenus offset

Post by ripnoel »

Hi All:

Kevin suggested I post this here.

Please take a look at my web page the address: 208.186.123.140. I've changed my left submenu to position to 264. When you initially viewed it was set to 0 as I was trying everything possible to make this work.

Initially, the submenu is placed correctly. If you'll resize your browser, however, so that it is approximately one-third larger than the white area on this page and refresh your browser once again you'll see that the submenus are placed correctly.

Now, resize this browser window so that the right hand side of the browser window is within a half-inch of the white area of this page. You will now see that the Melonic JavaScript strangely opens the submenus to the right of my main menu items which actually does place them off the Web browser viewable area (or at least partially off).

My main menu entries do not extend beyond the white space that you see on this web page. I therefore do not know why the program seems to think that the submenu items need to be moved. Your help here is greatly appreciated. As you can see from my source I'm not using frames. Again I have been quite impressed with this JavaScript programming and functionality with this one exception. I hope that possibly the error may be on my end and I welcome any suggestions that you may offer.

Best regards,

Rip Noel
