Hi Andy,

I'm nearly done, just downloaded another version today, before you fixed the headers. Followscroll is right on target now.

Horizontal submenu positioning is not going into the negative on left.

I haven't been able to get rid of the border color down the page on followscroll vertical. I mentioned before it would be nice to have last horizontal item stretch to the browser. Reverse engineering?

(be patient if it doesn't come up at first, try again, thanks)

Great works :D

Maz, the link still doesn't work for me. I can get to your homepage (removing the picture file name) but it won't load the picture. If you put that URL into a browser can you view it?

It will be quicker to put up the menu, than linking a graphic, its geocities, they require links to index. Do it quickly a few times to fool it.

What you can do (and I don't think this will stretch to the end of the page but it will get close) is create one more menu item in your horizontal menu. In that item, declare the itemwidth=100% and make the text = non-breaking space, and no URL so it doesn't mouseover or anything. This will make one more menu item stretch to almost the edge of the screen. If then you really want to hack it, put a colored stripe down the right hand side of your page so the menu touches it and when you scroll, it looks like its touching the site of the page.

BTW, I was able to see the graphic. I read Geocities terms and see to get to sites you need to be coming from the index page...what I did was go to your homepage (remove the maz_milonic.gif), view that, and then retype in the gif file name and it took me to it. I guess it just needs to see you are coming from the index.

Best of luck!

You can still get to the old menu code at v3 Frames Example, theres a like in the main menu on the homepage now. Just right click on a frame select view source and it will give you the source of that frame. And it uses v3.5.15 which should take care of anything you need to do.

Hergio,

I don't need the old menu the site is under development, just saying that I replaced 3 for 5 but nothing happened, object expected line 57, probably on both menus.

In the horizontal example the space beyond the open submenu is 100% type=header. I tried using overallwidth & menuwidth, they didn't do anything. I extended a static width for now.

The left tools menu follows the page (not the horizontal menu.) If I used separators, the last item separator would be at the bottom of the page, another item type=header would be required for the last separator. My preference is a small floating box.

This gave me the idea of using followscroll to extend the horizontal menu. Doubt it would work though.

Sorry about the misunderstanding, I follow you now. To try and get that right hand side to stretch farther, try putting that last item (aI) to have text=  and itemwidth="100%". This should make it fill in most of the area between the last item and browser side. But Andy has confirmed it can't quite go to the edge at the moment, but hes working on it.

If you want the left hand menu to be smaller, try looking at http://milonic.com/menufaq.php for an example of a horizontal scrolling menu that is a 'small floating box'. ;)

The horizontal is buggy filling the whole page with color off and on. I found a few site code errors. Bugette better than sour dough.
I took off 100% not to confuse it more than necessary.

The vertical turned into a box on the server. :P

Haven't resolved the form conflict from vertical menu and php yet, the forms froze all links on mac, and froze submit button on other machines. Took off the vertical menu, to do tomorrow.

Regards
