Updates & Downloads

Post by Maz »

A few concerns,

I have a license number but its not in my profile, didn't want to bother about it, but now I can't download.

The only way I can check if the menu is updated is by the date in src.

There is still no change in xpmenu although I recogize that any menu would do the same.

_subOffsetTop
_subOffsetLeft

These still don't work in the horizontal menu, or is it just me?

Some feedback when something is fixed would be really helpful, then I would know if it concerns me or not.

Thank you

You don't need a license number to download - just an account on the main site.

That one I agree on. A quick note from Andy on the download page of the current RC available, and maybe an updated.txt file in the download, would be a big help.

As for 'I would know if it concerns me or not', I think you should always keep up with the latest versions, regardless.

I'm not being clear, things have changed there are no free downloads, I am registered, but my license number is absent, until now I could download.

I looked for a way of adding my license number but there isn't anything.

OK, now I see what you're talking about. Send a note to marty@milonic.com with your license number and explain the situation to her.

I think the reason hes not fully documenting his changes is because we are still technically in the RC stage (I think) so its really not full fledged 5.0 yet. hehe Looking at past work, hes always been good about it so I think he will pick up on it again but I think we're still in development, wouldn't you think? But I cant say I dont agree, documentation is always a plus. :)

Yes, definitely still RC, but a quick 'What's New/Fixed" would really help.

Thank you, I take it from another post that there is some downtime and I will wait until the normal flow of information resumes.

All agreed that RC version and fix report is appreciated by all.

maz * I am unanimous on that
