Tip - Follow scrolling is actually a variable

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

Tip - Follow scrolling is actually a variable

Post by snapey »

Perhaps this is one for the manual ?

I have pages with one horizontal bar, and another with two, the second menu appearing below the first. This is fine until the user scrolls then both menu's appear at the same position.

I have found a wonderful feature! You can set the Follow Scrolling to be a variable rather than just a boolean. I can now have my second menu slot in under the first! If you set follow scrolling to 1 as the .js file comment then the menu will float to 1 pixel from the top. If you enter 30, then it floats to 30 down from the top.

Depending upon when you read this you may see an example at

I'm off to try and get shared borders working in Frontpage now so it may be a while before its uploaded.

Andy - an excellent product. :)
