Here's an interesting little tidbit that I thought some of you might enjoy...
http://www.opera.com/pressreleases/en/2003/02/14/
Might explain a bit what's been happening to some of our travels around the 'net, especially to us Mac folks. Had a nice encounter just last night where the site was trying to sell me something and checking for 3 or 4 different items and versions before it even let me at the order screen. It balked on Acrobat because I was supposedly running less than v4, when actually I am running 5.1 (Mac). They don't know/care about checking Mac versions. After I got through ripping them a new... umm, venting on them I felt even better when I told them their attitude cost them a customer.

Just FYI...

OK John, now you're freaking me out. Unless I miss my guess, you unsubscribed from the mailing list awhile ago. So you probably didn't see this message posted just two days ago??? I'm looking over my shoulder for Rod Serling!

Hi John

Well, it didn't really have anything to do with the (good) point you were making. However, in that message to the mailing list, Paul asked Bjorn (who started the thread):
I've always wondered: that Swedish chef guy on the Muppets used to say, "bork, bork, bork." Does that actually mean anything?
The article you aleted us to is about the Bork version of Opera... named after the same "chef." Just seemed Twilight Zone-ish to me, that the same obscure Muppet character, who hasn't been around for a long time, would pop up in two different, but related topics in two different, but related forums, within two days. Maybe I'll cut back on the coffee.... :D

Glad to hear about the absence of Pflooding BTW.

Cheers,

Kevin

Now back to our regularly scheduled stuff :)
