Another problem with the relative-position download file

Post by stephen702 »

Earlier, I reported a problem with the relative-position (in a table) download. (The first drop-down menu didn't drop down). Now I've found another problem in the downloaded version that affects Netscape 4.7.

Like the earlier problem, the sample that's online works fine in Netscape 4.7. But the version that you download doesn't.

In the online version (http://milonic.com/menusample.php?sampleid=9) all the drop-down menus actually drop down in 4.7. In the downloaded version, none do.

I realize that 4.7 is an old browser, but if it has no problem with the sample, it seems like it should work with the download, too.

Stephen, try creating a new menu definition above the first menu menu definition thats already in the example file. To do that, for example, just make a copy of the first menu item, put it above the original and rename it. But you dont have to reference it. I think we were having a bug earlier about for some reason, the first menu declared in the example code wasn't rendering for some reason. The reason is works in the online sample is because Andy's menu has menu definitions declared in the source file above the first one thats actually used, but he doesnt use them.
