Sub menu visible when arrive at web page

Post by jay »

hi,

Is there a way to have a sub menu already open when arriving on a page, then when you rollover a different main menu option it is erased so that the new sub menu is visable?

i've tried the menu properties alwaysvisable which makes the menu visible but the other sub menus are overlaying on top, and also keepalive which does not display the sub menu until you rollover the main menu option. seems like i need a combination of the two.

thanks in advance,
Jay

I don't know of a solution to your problem, (someone else might), but it seems like an odd thing to do.

If the subitem you want already open is so important, maybe it should just be always available on the main menu? Seems like an easy solution to me.

This is something that will be possible with the menu soon.

Currently working on it.

cheers andy, not to worry. Just started using the menu yesterday and finding it a great menu solution which works very well and is so straight forward to customise.

thanks again,

I also have great need for this type of functionality - it would be really great to have submenus already open on certain pages. Just wanted to see if this has been included in a recent build. Thanks!
