Hi All,
I'm new to Milonic menus and a near beginner to PHP hence my question may come over as trivial. However, I have been working with the Menus for the past few nights and can see how they work but wish to progress to dynamically generating the menus from MySql. I see the ideas behind changing menu_data.js to a .php but have struggled with generating menu items due to my poor PHP skills. I checked the FAQs and Forum but only found a few examples. Does the licenced product come with any beginner examples to get me on the right track? After I have been on the learning curve I need to build our menus from data held in the OSCommerce shopping cart tables Categories & Categories descriptions.
If anyone could point me towards some beginners examples it would be great and if anyone has an example based on the above OScommence tables that would be fantastic.
Many Thanks
Trying to migrate from ASP/MSSQL to PHP/MySQL
Any beginner guides to creating menu_data.php ?

I don't know a thing about php but there are a couple of threads I found in the forum that talk about it. http://milonic.com/forum/viewtopic. ... hlight=php Which has a 'beginning' explanation of php. http://milonic.com/forum/viewtopic. ... hlight=php Has to do with MySQL and php. You might do a forum search with just the term php.
