frames example is working!!!

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

frames example is working!!!

Post by b.dam@gmx.net »

Great, I see the frames example is working!!!

Thanks Andy, this is what I was looking for. And congratulations, I've been watching a lot of dhtml-menus, and yours is the first one which supports frames properly. Keep up the good work!

By the way, I'm thinking about not only using this menu on my website, but also in my webapplication. I'd be glad to pay you $30 for the supportcontract, does that mean I can use it as often as I want?

Hi,

Your $30 means that you can use the menu without the need for a link back to our site.

As you are contributing to the menu this means you get our approval to use the menu on any of your own web sites. If you were to use it on a clients site we would appreciate you purchasing further copies.

However, I think that using it on your we-app will be what I consider your own site so one copy would probably be sufficient for your purpose.

It's fixed.

I've moved the server again - 3rd time in 1 week :-((

Anyway, it's working now and the server is not moving again.

Aaaahhhh, what a shame. My webapp works as follows:

I have 2 frames, in the above the old hiermenus3 code is included. The array file from hiermenus3 is dynamically generated from a database. To avoid the strain on my database as much as possible, I only want to generate it once. As I can see in your frames sample, the array file is included in the body frame, not in the navigation frame.

Is it possible to have the same construction with your menu?
