Hi,
I posted this some time ago but I have had no replies
Can no-one help with this?
After downloading and installing Netsape 6.2 I have checked my site and I find that tooltips sometimes dont appear or may appear for about half a second only. The fault occurs when the site is viewed from the web or from my hard drive
These tooltips never fail in IE
URL http://www.get-the-message.org.uk/index.html
Menu items Guestbook and Curate's Pages. Particularly the later.
I have added"type=html" to the code in tooltips js file as per your previous instruction
aI("text=;type=html;");
Would you please have a look at this for me
thanks
Derek

Hi Ruth
Thanks for your reply. This is not easy to spot.
On the main menu there are two tooltips
Guestbook and Curate's Pages
The tooltip called first continues to work but the other tooltip dosn't.
It does not matter which is called first

I'm using NS7.1 and it is working fine.
The guest book pop-up is a yellow box with black and yellow text and the curate pop-up is the same picture of the guy in the white shirt that's on the home page.
I've tried different combinations of hovering over them and can't replicate the fault.

Yes, I know there are two, they both work in the versions I stated. I moused over them again and again. 6.1 did have a little glitch it seemed the first time I did the second mouseover, but I slowed my movement down and tried again and it showed, from then on at normal mouseover it showed each time, so I'm not sure if I just buzzed by too fast the first time I tried, kind of missing it, you know? Then it worked each time I moused over. So, I think it may be something in the browser version 6.2
