Opera 7.54 and Milonic menu not at top of page

Post by kbrowder »

Hello everyone.

Just to get of on the right foot, the milonic menu is great! I love it!

But......

Works fine in IE and Mozilla, but in Opera 7.54 the menu is at the top of my "body" (which is down from the top of the page 40px) and covers part of my header, rather than at the top of the page.

I.E. I'm using a container which only takes up part of my page and leaves margins around the container.

You can see the site on my test server at http://7times.us/.

I would like to get the menu up to the top of the view screen and not over the header (just occurs in Opera -- I have version 7.54).

It acts almost as if I had put the menu in a table.

Thanks for any help.

//with(milonic=new menuname("FrontPage")){
//style=menuStyle;
//aI("text=FrontPage;url=http://7times/newFP.shtml;");
//}

Thanks Maz. What is Safari?

Took that out, no difference. The menu still sets inside at the top line of the header.

I was having problems with my other version of Opera (same version) so I downloaded and installed it again. I may need to remove Opera and re install again?

Thanks for your help.

menu placement

Post by kbrowder »

Hello again.

I have decided to place the pseudo-table (#container) at the top of the view screen and make room for the menu in the header.

That takes care of that so we won't have to sweat the problem any more.

I appreciate the help Maz gave.

Take care all.
