We have been using milonic for some time now, great stuff!
Any ideas how I could create this sort of effect, were the menu item sits in it's own box?

Hi Chris,
Could you give a little more info? For example, you could make x number of main/visible menus each with it's own submenus and set their top left positions to make them sit right next to each other right below each other etc.
Or you could make a table and put each menu into it's own cell in the table, having each call it's own submenus. Etc. So, without seeing some kind of layout picture I can't really give you anything more definitive.
