to many menus/sub menus

The verion of Menu we are useing is 5.3. I am creating a menu with 4 top level menus and several different levels of sub menus. Total menus is around 550+ menus. I am saving the menus in a *.js file and referencing it in a html file. When I mouseOver a menu item it takes a short time for the sub menu to be displayed? It appears that the menu system is having to "find" the sub menu to display? Is there anyway for me to speed this up? Is there any order I should be putting the menu items in the *.js file mentioned above? Also, is there a way to tell my browser to only load the menus once?

Hi Robert,

There's really no way for us to know what's going on without seeing the site and also, we don't have info on the old versions programming so you'd need to upgrade to the newest version. Download that and make sure you don't overwrite you existing milonic_src.js, mmenudom.js, mmenuns4.js files in case there's some conflict.

Just to add a little to Ruth's post, the current version is 5.734, so your 5.3 is way behind. You'll need to get current before we can help.
