Odd behavior when used in SharePoint 2003

Post by JamesB@EnvisionIT »

We have used the menu in SharePoint but we have noticed it seems to be interfering with one of the SharePoint pages. The problem is that if you go to an 'Events' page and change the 'View' to 'Calendar' the calendar is not rendered correctly. The first five columns have their border rendered white (though you can see it flash black when it loads) and the right most two columns are rendered correctly.

If you refresh the page or re-size the IE then the first five columns render correctly, but if you hover over the menu then the first five columns turn white again.

Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

This may be totally off the wall, I just noticed there was no reply so I'm just going to throw out a guess here. It would seem to be something in the layout, in the css maybe for that page, since the menu spans the full width of the calendar and yet the last two show the black. I know you said it would turn back to white if you mouseover the menu, but some things in css like the link codes will sometimes affect the menu, so maybe the reverse is true also.

Without actually having sharepoint and the page, there's not much else I can suggest. Sorry.
