Strange shadow on wide menus

I have recently inherited the administration of my company's website at http://www.ccm-ltd.co.uk which uses Milonic menu Version 5.18. I have got to grips with how to change most things, but I can't get rid of a strange shadow that appears on wide menus only. It fills the top right hand quarter of all wide menus and sub-menus and is either grey or black according to the mouse position. Nothing in the menu_data.js file appears to account for it and I can't figure out how to remove it. Any ideas?

First things first. You must be running the currrent version of the menu for support on this forum. You're at 5.18, current is 5.756. Get up to level, then come back and let us know how things are going. If it's still failing, at that time we can help.
