menubgimage and offbgcolor

Post by kevdog98 »

Hi,

I am try to make my menu have a menubgcolor and still be able to use the offbgcolor. I can not get it to work, if I use both the menubgimage and the offbgcolor the offbgcolor take affect and covers up the menubgimage. If i remove the offbgcolor my onbgcolor does not turn off. Is there a way that I can have a background color for my meny and a on and off bgcolor for my menu items that does not overwrite my background image?

Thanks.

Hi,

I need a url so I can see what you have. You mentioned menubgcolor and offbgcolor but then you mention menubgimage.

Menubgcolor and image apply to the menu in which the menu items are, so you can color it or put a menubgimage in it, but since the menu items are in the container then when you set bgimages, or offbgcolors then they will be what is seen it is the items and not the menu in which they are that you see.

You can set a menubgimage, and sent the offbgcolor to transparent and I believe the menubgimage will show and since the offbgcolor is transparent..which is a 'color' then when you mouseover your onbgcolor should show. You can also set a margin in each menu and your menubgcolor and menubgimage should show in the margin, but again, if you put a bgimage or offbgcolor in the items, it will only show in the margin not 'through' the items since they are now 'opaque'.

But, I really need to see your page to see what combination you're trying to be clear on what to use for what.
