Using transparent images

Post by varsityjim »

I've searched the forums but couldn't find this. I'm sure it's here and it's an easy fix. Everything seems like an easy fix with this app.

The top line of my menu is using transparent images, but the "offbgcolor" is showing behind the transparency. Is there a way to make the top menu row a transparent background?

Hi,

We really would need to see the menu. Can you put up a test page? Without that, I'll try and guess that he top line is part of the main menu and so all the lines in the main, other than this one you want to have the same off/on bgcolors. So, in the aI string for that top line try setting offbgcolor=transparent;onbgcolor=transparent and so on. But this is only a guess unless I can get a page to work on.

Thank you. I'll give those a shot. I'd rather not post it publically, but I can send it to you directly or email me at varsityjim@hotmail.com

Hi,

Got the email and the information that you solved it, given the 'top' line was actually the main menu and the color problem was that you had pagebgcolor set and it was over 'writing' the images. Just for your information, you can make a a different tab image for pageimage and that way keep the design but have a different color for menu highlighting. It would only be that image when you're on the page that matches, of course.
