'pagecolor' ignored on highlightme() and mmpagehighlight

Post by luisraposo »

hello,

while pagecolor works fine with breadCrumbs (http://support.milonic.com/demos/breadcrumb/index.htm), it is ignored, replaced by offcolor, both on highlightme (http://milonic.com/menufaq.php#linkHighlight) and mmpageHighlighter (http://support.milonic.com/demos/mmpage ... /index.htm)

funny thing is that, while using the three options at the same time, as soon as a menu item using breadCrumbs is clicked, the pagecolor for both the selected highlightme() and mmpagehighlighter items, gets right!

please confirm,
luis[/b]

Hi,

You're probably right, but I'd need your page to test it since I don't know how you have anything set up. I am not a coding person, that is I don't do programming or js codes so to test things, which I do by the 'what happens if I try this/try that' method. It's because of this I need to actually have the pages to work on. Without knowing how you have things coded on the page, I don't know how to set up an example to work on it.

For your information, the Breadcrumbs thing is not for frames it is for iframes so I'm not really sure it will work across frames.

When you get into the frames thing, well with the mmpagehighlighter example I put up uses the clickfunction as does the highlight me thing, and with frames you already have an onfunction/offfunction that is what is designed to make the menu work across frames so I don't know what happens when you try to add clickfunction to it.

I'd be glad to play around with it if you'd give me your frames setup with the codes for those things on them.

Ruth,
you are more than helpful, heaven is yours for sure! :D

This menu I am working on is for an internal site, no direct Internet connection. How can I send you the files?

kind regards,
luis
