Opera 9.5: First Popup not right size

Hello,
users told us that the menu on our site (http://www.ebase.com) is not working with opera 9.5 as expected: popup menus (second level menu) are wrong sized, the popup is way to small.
I went after the problem and upgraded to to current version 5.794 which helped a little: Now the first popup menu (which ever I popup first using my mouse cursor) has the wrong size, all outer popups are now correct.

I checked your site (http://milonic.com) with opera 9.5 and found the same problem: the first popup menu I point to has the wrong size, all other popups are sized right.

This seems to come from changes in opera, because with opera 9.2 everything works fine.
Still, can you please go after it and try to find a fix.
